A tough, engineering grade PLA that can stand up to high impacts and high temperatures. Straight off of the build plate our Tough Pro PLA+ gives you 8.8x higher impact strength than a standard PLA. Tough Pro PLA+ uses virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 3D870 resin, which was engineered to deliver thermal and mechanical properties similar to ABS in an eco-friendly PLA package. Our Tough Pro PLA+ is a true workhorse material, made for your toughest jobs. Made from Ingeo 3D870 PLA resin engineered and manufactured right here in the US of A; post-annealing, it has an impact strength comparable to ABS, temperature resistance comparable to PETG, all in a bio-based, PLA package with the same great 3D printing characteristics of PLA. Each spool contains 1kg (2.2 lbs) of filament, with a diameter of 1.75mm, and a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.05mm.
